UJ showed up. That was it. Everybody else that got directions, specific date and time info, even the court house; bailed. Two were excused (mandatory meeting), everybody else hit us up later with random excuses. Was OK though, D didn't want them...Kinda like how I didn't want to tell them to start off with. All together there ten was of us, three dogs, and two cats. Had to keep Sue locked up. Her fav spot was the top of the table that housed the wedding cake.
Was a great party. T got to officially meet the family (which she dubbed - the family with good looking men XD Think she needs her eyes checked! ) and we all watched a movie. Silent film - Charlie Chaplain. Amazing, how everyone sat so quiet, even Pap...On his best behavior. So, proud!
T had to go (everyone else usually crashes at the house, so wasn't much of a hustle on things.) so we started the cake bit. D and I cut the cake...kinda. Everybody had something to say at once, whilst clicking their cameras. Move here, then there...Cut this way, cut that way...With all the yapping, I tried to tell him it was cake face time. He had protested this before, something about pointless traditions and he did not want to participate...
Course he wasn't listening and I had cake in my hand...Smooch, it went! Did it fairly gentle, not much clean up required...Only cause I caught him off guard and to the side. He turned round looked at me and went, "Well! In that case!" and smeared a huge chunk on my face up my nose and all over my shoes...Bah!
Cleaned up a bit then debated our one nights getaway. Eventually, I decided (he wanted me to choose) on cheap, decent, and close. It was late (11pm), didn't want to go far, neither one of us was feeling any better, and we were tired. So, we went, damn nearn just down the road. Scoped it out and checked in.
