Since I was little, if I said anything related to my health I was always told I was hypochondriac. They wouldn’t even bother to see if any of my ailments were real.
Case in scenario
I told them
I broke my fingers.
Their response
“Oh, their just sore, you’ll be fine.”
Outcome
When my fingers swelled up like purple balloons, they took me to the doctor. Only to find out my fingers were REALLY broken and sprained...
Well, I’ve always had this compulsion to shake my legs. Tho half the time I wasn’t even aware of the shake. Always got yelled at for hitting the wall, cause I have to literally rock myself to sleep. Like during the MS150, when I had to bunk with my G, I got yelled at half the night with, “STOP SHAKIN THE BED!” Watching TV on the couch, out of nowhere I’d get smacked. I was ok with the shake, learned to deal with it, but not the treatment my family gave me…
Well, I finally got them to shut up and leave me alone! Thanks to the RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) commercial…Now they don’t yell cause they finally realize what it is. Tho now G is trying to tell me she has it and worse! HAHA if that were true she wouldn’t have been yelling at me for it all these years, because she would have been shaking the bed too!
