Went to a car show with Chris, Thursday, where she threw me a line and I blindly grabbed it. At first I thought hey what the hell, it’s a long shot but I might as well try. Knew I was screwed…Just not this bad; hence my interview went bad on Friday. Least I know what has to be fixed first.
I can’t put in my past work experience. I can only play it off as ‘mentioned’ summer work. I can’t even name the place to a future employer. Besides the fact that a 14 year old isn’t allowed to work a 48-hour shift in a week, the place where I had my work experience of almost 2 years my UG worked at as well. When he did his crime they turned on him. Then refused his brother work because he was a relation. I’m his niece who lived and worked with him, so, I can only imagine what they are going to say to any future employers I may have….
This I realized, during my interview, made me look suspicious. I’m a VERY bad liar. So, I don’t bother, I just try to maneuver myself round it as best I can to avoid any confrontment. If confronted, I give out the truth. Which isn’t always good…IF I avoid something, it’s usually because it is complex and will take me a while to explain. There’s no simple yes or no from me.
My truck, which had the a/c fixed in it today yay, isn’t mine yet; not like I have the money anyways. My rents haven’t gotten the title on the new car; can’t learn let alone use that yet either. I have no money, no transportation. I’m not even qualified to look for a damn job. Now I’m irritated…
