I called my insurance company.
Since, I was late in replying when I first signed up for my insurance, in 2006 (however, their records say late 2007), i had to wait after a two year waive period. Unless i had a qualifying life event.
I just got married.
I called only to find out - it does not count. My husband could not start his benefits until 2009, because he waived everything! I can add my husband onto everything from mine (effective immediately), but we can't have dental. Also, it's a two full year waive down to the day! My dental insurance will not be available until fall of 2009. Course by the time it goes in, it will not be processed until January 2010...FUCK THAT! My mouth hurts now, you can't tell it to be quiet until 2010!
Set up an appointment, went in Wednesday, and got my estimate. Since my doc's know my income and about my non-existing insurance, they cut me a deal. Looking at 7k, for my top set. Yes, set. Have to get them all pulled - top and bottom - as with most of my family.
I figure, no point in prolonging it. Set me up! So, their nurse helped me with the forum, which wouldn't submit. Then she called and tried again. Thank GOD she was doing it. All the trouble they gave her I know it would have been worse for me. Eventually, she got it up and my credit total; which was less than half of the total cost for my top set. Why? My previous visit. The charge to my card was still showing, even-though it was three months ago. Course the bureau reports every three months. Wankers...
No problem. Make a few payments which should make it go back up, and I will be able to apply for more. The payments are small enough with a 60 month plan. I can make a few calls, pull out my savings, and finish the payments myself; if it's still an issue later.
